We watched this video in my Q-Class while learning about NGO’s and it happened to relate perfectly to my blog project. I thought this video was really inspiring. Charity: water has helped nearly a million people just because a few people decided that something in the world was unfair and wanted to change it. This video makes me believe that solving the water crisis is not beyond our reach; the video lists simple solutions like drilling and digging wells, protecting mountain springs, and collecting rain water. It depends on individuals choosing to try to make a difference.

This video was extremely interesting. I was blown away by the fact that just a group of friends planning a birthday party could have this big of an impact. Are you considering doing something like this for your next birthday?

My first thought when I saw this video in my Q-class was, “Damn, this guy has a lot of friends to invite to his birthday party.” But then, I figured it’s New York and people can do whatever they want, like start random charities. Regardless of that fact, charity:water has a very interesting and impressive back story. I find it impressive that just a few people were able to create such a successful movement. You’re lucky that you found something so profound that relates right back to your topic.
